Active & Differential Probe

TestEquity is an authorized distributor of new active probe and differential probe products for oscilloscopes from Tektronix, Agilent, Fluke, and Instek. We are also an authorized rental company for Agilent and Tektronix, and stock a wide variety of oscilloscopes for rental.

Active probes contain transistors or other active devices as part of the probe's signal conditioning network. They are used to reduce loading on the circuit under test.

A differential probe uses a differential amplifier to subtract two signals, resulting in one differential signal for measurement by one channel of the oscilloscope.
