If your team is debugging Xilinx FPGAs, you can extend the power of your 6000 or 7000 mixed-signal oscilloscope (MSO) with the new N5406A FPGA dynamic probe to gain significant productivity improvements and get your product to market faster. The Agilent N5406A interacts with an on-chip virtual probing technology, enabling each of the 6000 MSOs' 16 digital timing channels to access up to 64 internal FPGA signals. This means a total of 1024 internal signals are accessible by an MSO within a single FPGA design. These internal FPGA signals can then be correlated to external analog content with MSOs' tightly integrated analog and digital channels. Traditional test and measurement equipment can only measure a single internal FPGA signal for each debug pin. The FPGA dynamic probe application can be installed on any PC (Windows 2000 or Windows® XP Pro) remotely connected to 6000 or 7000 MSOs. Flexible license types determine how the application can be used with 6000 or 7000 MSOs. Two types of licenses are available: Oscilloscope-locked license This type of license permits multiple users with the application running on multiple PCs to share a single MSO in a lab. PC-locked license This type of license permits a single user with the application running on a single PC to access multiple different MSOs the user may have in a lab. |
