    The 4040B is a versatile DDS (direct digital synthesis) function generator with high signal precision and stability. The 4040B generates sine, square, and triangle waveforms at up to 20 MHz, and provides variable output voltages from 0 to 10 Vp-p into 50 Ω or up to 20 Vp-p into open circuit. A continuously variable DC offset allows the output to be injected directly into circuits at the correct bias level.

    The 4040B can be programmed remotely via the USB (virtual COM) interface using SCPI commands. Additionally, application software is available from B&K Precision that provides virtual front panel emulation, allowing users to remotely control their instrument without the need for programming.

    Included: Instruction manual on CD, power cord, USB (type A to B) interface cable, and certificate of calibration.
