Hexacon HTC-5622 Variable-Temperature Dual-Iron Soldering Station
The Hexacon HTC-5622 is a dual-iron soldering station designed for applications ranging from micro-circuit work to heavier soldering connections. Equipped with two 25-watt soldering irons, the station features independently controlled handpieces and continuously variable temperature control from 550°F to 850°F (±10°F) for precise process adjustment.
As part of the HTC Series, the HTC-5622 is engineered for rapid heat-up and fast thermal recovery. Its ceramic heater is positioned inside the tip to maximize thermal efficiency, helping maintain stable soldering temperatures during production, assembly, and repair operations.
The HTC-5622 is fully ESD-safe and provides spike-free performance through a positively grounded tip, static-dissipative handle, and static-dissipative case. According to Hexacon, the station meets MIL-spec requirements and is designed for use in electronics manufacturing, soldering workstations, rework operations, and other environments where electrostatic protection is important.

Designed for Versatile Soldering Applications
The HTC-5622 supports a broad range of soldering requirements, from delicate electronic assemblies and circuit board work to larger electrical connections. A wide selection of CT-series soldering tips, with point sizes ranging from 1/64 inch to 1/4 inch, allows the station to be configured for different soldering tasks and production requirements.
Because the two handpieces are independently controlled, the HTC-5622 can support different operating conditions within a single workstation, improving flexibility for manufacturing, rework, and repair environments.
Workstation Features:
The HTC Series includes a sponge holder design with:
- Stainless steel dross collection tray
- Hot-tip rest
- Dual-hole sponge design
- Four wiping surfaces
- Extended water capacity
These features help support efficient soldering station maintenance and day-to-day workstation organization.
