The TTRU1 is a true RMS multimeter that can test distribution, instrument (CTs and PT/VTs), and power transformers. It provides accurate results by supplying the necessary AC voltage and current with minimal user input.
The TTRU1 has an intuitive full colour Hibright LCD user interface that reduces training time. In addition to routine polarity validation and turns ratio tests for power, distribution, and instrument transformers, the TTRU1 can measure short circuit impedance (leakage reactance) with the same one time connection.
The TTRU1 can perform up to 1000 TTR tests on a single charge with AA NiMH batteries that come with the unit. To recharge the batteries, just plug the provided USB-C cable into any wall charger or computer USB port.
