Detecting and Tracing
The Easyloc Tx transmitter is distinguished by the following features:
Inductive coupling of the signal using the integrated antenna or transmitter clamp
Direct (galvanic) coupling of the signal using connected equipment (such as the measurement cable and power socket adapter)
Two-step adjustable transmission power
Selectable signal output – continuous or pulsed
The Easyloc Tx receiver is distinguished by the following features:
Passive signal modes for locating lines without the Easyloc Tx transmitter
Active signal modes for locating lines / probes when used together with a transmitter
Automatic depth determination when used together with a transmitter (not available for Easyloc Basic)
Semi-automatic depth estimation in passive signal modes (not available for Easyloc Basic)
Sensitivity level can be adjusted automatically or manually
Lighted display for use in dim environments

Megger Easyloc-S-EN-VS FAQ
What are the advantages of the EasyLoc?
The EasyLoc helps to avoid cable damage and minimize costly accidents and inconvenient delays. It's quick and simple to operate, the transmitter with mains voltage-proof output doesn't require a separating filter, and it provides depth measurement. Can you measure depth without using a transmitter?
Yes, depth measurement is possible at the push of a button even without a transmitter (such as when operating in passive power mode), but this feature is restricted to the EAsyLoc standard version.
