Overview

The Triplett SLM600-KIT Sound Level Meter/Datalogger with Calibrator Kit is designed for measuring and verifying sound levels in a wide range of environments, including workplace safety (OSHA compliance), community noise monitoring, concerts and nightclubs, airports, mining operations, sporting events, construction sites, vehicle testing, wind farms, and product noise reduction. The meter complies with IEC 61672-1 Class 2 standards, offering ±1.4dB accuracy. It can store up to 32,700 readings with a user-selectable sampling interval (1 to 59 seconds) and date/time stamping. Measurement capabilities include a 30 to 130dB range across three settings, A and C weighting, and selectable fast or slow response times. Additional functions include analog AC/DC output, Data Hold, Min/Max recording, and auto power-off with disable option. The included calibrator is compatible with 1/2-inch microphones and provides selectable outputs of 94dB and 114dB with ±0.5dB accuracy, at a frequency of ±4% at 1kHz.
