Overview

The Triplett CTX1200 Network Tester is designed for installing and maintaining network cabling projects, computer rooms, and CCTV systems. It includes a built-in TDR capable of checking for opens, shorts, and cable length (up to 1.2 km) on UTP, CAT 6e/5e, BNC, and telephone lines. Additional functions include network ping testing, port flashing, and IP address scanning to quickly determine port speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) and duplex mode (full or half). The integrated cable tracer identifies the correct UTP or BNC cable within a bundle, using a secondary digital code mode to eliminate noise and false signals for fast, accurate detection. An RJ45 cable TDR evaluates UTP cable condition, length, and attenuation, with advanced testing for sequence, type, connectivity, and fault points at the near, mid, or far end of the RJ45 plug. The unit also features an HD coaxial video level meter that measures TVI, CVI, AHD, and CVBS signal peak, SYNC, and burst values.
