3M™ Tape 40 is an anti static utility tape that is suitable for use in static sensitive areas. It withstands temperatures up to 266 °F (130 °C).

3M™ Anti Static Electronic Tape 40 has a 1 mil thick polyester film backing and offers optimized adherence with an anti static, conductive polymer, acrylic adhesive. It features a compact design and offers a multitude of applications in manufacturing. It is designed to prevent ESD damage to various sensitive electronic equipment in manufacturing environments. It comes on a plastic core, which eliminates the contamination of dirt in clean work areas. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
