The USB-DIO96H is ideal for high-channel count digital I/O requirements. The device provides high current, logic-level, bidirectional digital I/O and counter operation. The outputs can drive a wide assortment of external devices directly, without additional buffering.

USB-DIO96H Series Overview

The USB-DIO96H Series is a set of devices (USB-DIO96H or USB-DIO96H/50) that offer 96 digital input/output (DIO) channels. These channels are divided into eight banks of eight ports and eight banks of four ports. Each port can be independently configured for input or output. The devices are designed to emulate 82C55 mode 0. The digital outputs are high-drive TTL that can source 24 mA and sink 64 mA.

The digital I/O lines can be accessed through the screw terminals on the USB-DIO96H and through the header connectors on the USB-DIO96H/50. The USB-DIO96H Series boards are shipped in a rugged metal enclosure that can be mounted on a DIN rail or bench.
