The Hakko Nitrogen soldering system is the ideal solution for all your LEAD-FREE hand-soldering applications, especially for those wanting the benefits of soldering while using nitrogen, but do not want the expense of installing or expanding a nitrogen distribution system within their facility.

Much like the Hakko FX-780, this new nitrogen generator uses filtered, dry compressed air and a membrane filter to extract the nitrogen from the atmosphere; and it can achieve concentration levels as high as 99.9%. The Hakko FX-781 has approximately double the output capacity of the Hakko FX-780, allowing one generator to be shared between two soldering irons/stations.

The bench-top FX-781 Nitrogen Generator creates nitrogen gas and the FX-791 Nitrogen Controller and FM-2026 Soldering Iron (sold separately) deliver the N2 efficiently and uniformly to the soldering area.

NOTE: If you do NOT have nitrogen availability at your work station, the compact FX-781 Generator is the best bang for your buck.
