The snap plug has a butted-seam barrel that is covered by a funnel-designed, seamless brass sleeve. The brass sleeve serves to guide the wire into position while providing electrical contacts and mechanical stress relief at the point of insulation. It has an abrasion-resistant, flared, nylon-sleeve insulation which ensures positive grip and has a stepped design for mistake-proof crimping. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
