This additive is used to thicken or render non-sag those grades of the ELASTOSIL M "46.." high-strength series which are flowable as supplied. The effect is such that, when - for example - a skin mold is being made, the silicone rubber can be applied even to inclined or vertical surfaces by brush or spatula without flowing off or sagging. The more additive added to the rubber mass, the thicker tem mass becomes. Thus, the whole range of thixotropic states can be attained, including the fully non-sag state. WACKER STABILIZER 43 is a colorless to yellowish, cloudy, medium-viscosity liquid with a faint odor. It is exclusively used to thicken those addition-curing RTV-2 silicone rubber grades of the "ELASTOSIL M 46 .." series which are flowable as supplied.

The 'Best use before end' date of each batch is shown on the product label. Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
