The QA Technology 050‑PLP1613S is a conventional spring probe from the 050‑16 Series, designed for loaded‑board testing on 0.050‑in (1.27‑mm) centers with a 0.160‑in (4.06‑mm) full stroke. It features a nickel‑silver tube with precious‑metal cladding and offers low resistance (typically under 20 mOhms). The "13" tip style corresponds to a chisel‑type point, making it suitable for reliable contact on PCB target surfaces. Probes in this series are commonly used for in‑circuit and functional testing where consistent, durable electrical connections are required.
About QA Probes
QA Technology's patented probe design features an angled plunger tail for improved biasing ensuring consistent electrical contact between the internal sliding surfaces of the plunger and probe. They are also lubricated to maximize cycle life and performance. Unlubricated probes (option N) are available if required. Removing lubrication greatly reduces cycle life and should only be used in applications outside of the working temperature range.
