It can also be used on many non-3M spray guns and air tools that require adjustable air pressure. As a flow regulator, it is designed for improved airflow performance which helps reduce system pressure losses. Its high-contrast analog pressure gauge and textured control knob help painters dial in the exact pressure to optimise their work – helping reduce overspray and material consumption. The gauge is clearly marked at 1.4 bar(20 psi) and 2.0 bar (29 psi), the standard pressures for 3M™ Performance Spray Gun HVLP and Fine Finish nozzles respectively.
