Hexacon HTC-5633 Variable-Temperature Dual-Iron Soldering Station
The Hexacon HTC-5633 is a variable-temperature dual-iron soldering station equipped with two 40-watt soldering irons. Designed for professional electronics assembly, production soldering, rework, and repair applications, the station combines independently controlled handpieces with precise temperature regulation for a broad range of soldering tasks.
As part of the HTC Series, the HTC-5633 delivers rapid heat-up and quick thermal recovery through a ceramic heater positioned inside the tip for maximum thermal efficiency. Temperature is controlled by solid-state circuitry and is continuously adjustable from 550°F to 850°F (±10°F), allowing operators to match heat output to the application.
The HTC-5633 is fully ESD-safe, featuring a positively grounded tip along with a static-dissipative handle and case. According to Hexacon, the station provides spike-free performance and meets MIL-spec requirements, making it suitable for sensitive electronic components and production environments.

Designed for a Wide Range of Soldering Applications
The HTC-5633 is designed to handle applications ranging from delicate micro-circuits to heavier electrical connections. A broad selection of CT-series tip geometries and sizes, ranging from 1/64 inch to 1/4 inch, allows users to configure the station for different soldering requirements and production environments.
Because each handpiece is independently controlled, the HTC-5633 provides flexibility for operators performing multiple soldering processes within the same workstation. This makes it a practical choice for electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, rework stations, and industrial soldering applications.
Workstation Features:
The HTC Series incorporates several workstation-focused features designed to support efficient operation:
- Removable stainless steel dross collection tray
- Hot-tip rest
- Double sponge with two holes
- Four wiping surfaces
- Extended water capacity
- EPA-compliant solder handling support through the removable dross tray design
These features help maintain a clean, organized soldering workstation while supporting routine tip cleaning and solder residue management.
