The PCE-TG 110 is an ultrasonic thickness meter with adjustable speed and a measuring range of up to 200 mm (7.87-inches). Please note the meter displays results in mm only. The ultrasonic thickness meter, PCE-TG 110, works with an external ultrasonic probe; this probe conducts ultrasonic waves into the material to be tested. Different materials conduct ultrasound at different speeds; with this meter, you can choose ultrasonic speeds from 1000 to 9999 m/s with a step size of 1 m/s. The meter has five speeds pre-set for different materials.
The TG 110 ultrasonic thickness meter is ideal for water pipes, steam pipes, and pipes for chemicals. The included ultrasound probe has a measuring head that can be used at surface temperatures of up to 400°C (752°F). The measuring head has a special coating to ensure maximum protection against skin burns. The meter is factory calibrated.
