Test vehicle Charging Stations, Easily and Reliably

With the Fluke FEV100, you can check the quality and functionality of level 1 or level 2 AC charging stations (EVSEs) for Tesla station or type 1 connector. This test adapter mimics an electric vehicle, so you can perform tests with suitable test instruments like an oscilloscope or a digital multimeter. Use the FEV100 to make sure an EVSE is operating correctly after installation and during regular maintenance, or diagnose an EVSE if it is not providing the right charge.

Safety

EVSE charging cables can get worn out over time, posing a risk of electric shock to users. Protect yourself from and assess the risk of electric shock with the GFCI trip test. This function confirms the breaker of the EVSE is working by detecting ground faults. Also, the PE grounding protection pre-test ensures that there is no harmful voltage at the ground terminal.

Simplicity and Convenience

Do various tests such as ground fault tests, wire insulation tests, voltage and duty cycle measurements to see the maximum current available for charging with one adapter that safely works with the Fluke range of test and measurement tools. You don’t have to bring an electric vehicle to the site for EVSE troubleshooting: the adapter acts as an electric vehicle when plugged into an EVSE for easy testing and maintenance.
