B2902C Overview
The Keysight B2902C is a versatile, dual-channel precision Source/Measure Unit (SMU) optimized for efficient and accurate voltage and current sourcing and measurement in laboratory, R&D, and automated testing environments. It supports a maximum voltage of ±210 V and current capabilities up to ±3 A DC or ±10.5 A pulsed, accommodating a wide range of device testing requirements, including semiconductors, passive components, and precision electronic devices. The dual-channel capability allows independent operation, facilitating tests on devices with multiple terminals.

The B2902C offers excellent precision, with measurement resolution down to 100 fA for current and 100 nV for voltage. Its integrated four-quadrant functionality greatly simplifies complex IV measurement setups, removing the need for multiple separate instruments and significantly enhancing measurement reliability and repeatability. Built-in arbitrary waveform generation (AWG) and sweep functions—including linear, logarithmic, and pulsed sweeps—provide extensive flexibility for dynamic electrical characterization, with waveform definitions supporting up to 100,000 programmable steps.
The intuitive 4.3-inch color LCD graphical user interface (GUI) offers multiple viewing modes, including dual-channel views and graph displays, enabling quick setup, data visualization, and interactive testing from the front panel. With fast digitizing capabilities reaching up to 50,000 points per second, the unit efficiently captures transient phenomena.
