The Keysight B2910CL is a precision single-channel Source/Measure Unit (SMU) designed for accurate and versatile electronic testing applications. It provides an output range of up to ±210 V and ±1.5 A DC, with measurement resolution down to 10 fA for current and 100 nV for voltage, enabling detailed characterization typically found in high-end semiconductor device analyzers. The B2910CL supports integrated four-quadrant voltage and current sourcing, simplifying IV measurements by eliminating the need for multiple instruments and complex setups.

This SMU includes an intuitive 4.3-inch color graphical user interface (GUI) with several viewing modes—such as single and graph view—allowing users to quickly configure tests, visualize data, and perform interactive device analysis directly from the front panel. Built-in sweep capabilities offer linear, logarithmic, and custom list sweeps with up to 100,000 steps, supporting comprehensive characterization across diverse electronic components. Furthermore, the unit efficiently captures transient phenomena with a fast sampling rate of up to 20,000 points per second, ideal for observing low-frequency transient behaviors.

The B2910CL features multiple connectivity options, including USB, LAN, and GPIB, facilitating easy integration into automated test environments.
