Pico Technology 5000E Series - 5462E+ FlexRes USB Oscilloscope (8/16-Bit, 60 MHz/200 MHz, 4 Channels)
The PicoScope 5462E+ is a high-performance FlexRes USB oscilloscope that gives engineers the flexibility of two instruments in one. Operating in either 16-bit precision mode or 8-bit high-speed mode, the 5462E+ allows users to prioritize measurement accuracy or signal capture speed depending on the application. In 16-bit mode, it delivers 60 MHz bandwidth, 2.5 GS/s sampling, and 1 GS deep memory for precision analog measurements. Switching to 8-bit mode unlocks up to 200 MHz bandwidth, 5 GS/s sampling, and 2 GS memory depth for capturing fast digital edges and transient events.
With four analog channels, ultra-low noise performance, advanced analysis tools, and PicoScope 7 software included, the 5462E+ is ideal for embedded systems, power electronics, automotive development, mixed-signal troubleshooting, signal integrity testing, and design validation.

Two Scopes In One
FlexRes technology lets you switch resolution to match the job. 16-bit mode delivers the full vertical precision, and 8-bit mode enables high-speed measurement with a bandwidth up to 500 MHz, sampling up to 5 GS/s, and timing resolution down to 200 ps. This captures the fast digital edges, ringing, overshoot and high-frequency switching transients that slower scopes miss.

Serial Protocol Decoders Included
PicoScope oscilloscopes can decode more than 40 data protocols, with more in development, including CAN, UART, I2C, LIN, MODBUS and more. All protocols are builtin as standard and available free of charge as part of software upgrades. See the full list of protocols in the technical specifications.
On MSO models, you can decode up to 20 analog and digital channels of serial data, giving you the flexibility to decode multiple buses simultaneously.
