  • Metal-in anti-static bags
  • Five layer construction to maximize ESD protection
  • Protects components from EMI interference and ESD risk that metal-out bags cannot
  • Reliable burst, puncture, pull and tear strength
  • Metal-in construction fully isolates contents

Botron’s Metal-In Flat and Zip Shielding Bags are made from a layered, metalized polyester with static dissipative inner and outer layers. The polyester dielectric and metal layer create a Faraday effect for shielding of ESD. ESD sensitive materials stored inside the bag are provided a static safe environment.

The metal-in formulation of Botron Anti-static Shielding Bags protects components from EMI interference and ESD risk that metal-out bags cannot. Metal-in construction fully isolates its contents inside preventing risk of contact with charged conductors or unintended paths to ground.

The inner and outer film of Botron’s Anti-static Shielding Bags is low tribocharging, therefore charges that can occur during handling are drastically reduced. Additionally, the anti-static film is low capacitance, meaning not only will it not hold a large charge, any charge buildup will be quickly dissipated.
