Like all Sturtevant Richmont, interchangeable heads open-end series consists of one piece, cast heads that are made from a proprietary metal formula. The rounded corners distribute the stress vectors so they don't all intersect at one point and create breakage. The same applies to the U-bottom design. The rounded bottom distributes the stress vectors and that improves durability.

Open End Interchangeable Heads come with a torque rating clearly shown on the head.
