The DSX-CHA021S consists of two M12 channel adapters designed for use with the DSX-5000. These adapters enable testing and certification of installed channel links to ensure dependable Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) performance in challenging industrial environments governed by MICE standards. When paired with the DSX-5000 CableAnalyzer, the DSX M12 Channel Adapters offer a comprehensive, standards-compliant testing solution.

The M12 connectors meet the transmission criteria for TIA Category 5e and ISO Class D. Cabling that satisfies these standards supports Fast Ethernet (100BASE-TX) over distances up to 100 meters (328 feet). Additionally, the adapters allow direct testing and certification of channel links against the 100BASE-TX transmission benchmarks outlined in IEEE Standard 802.3-2012, clause 25.4.9.
