Dirt and moisture traps act as a protective shield, preventing the migration of moisture and dirt from the device being tested to the delicate piston/cylinder assembly of a pneumatic deadweight tester. This ensures that unforeseen particle contamination or fluid within the test device is blocked from infiltrating the deadweight system, thereby eliminating the need for maintenance or repair downtime. These traps, designed to function in an upright position, are straightforward to disassemble and clean.

The high-pressure variant comes with a safety-enhanced aluminum central chamber and employs standard test port adapters.
