Designed for Safety and Compliance
The Fluke PRV240FS Proving Unit is a compact, portable voltage source that operates on battery power. It is designed specifically to validate the operation of the FieldSense measurement on T6 electrical testers. In addition, it supplies both ac and dc voltages for other high-impedance (HiZ) devices in your toolkit.
Fluke's PRV240FS provides a feature known as "Test Before Touch" (TBT). This process involves checking your T6 against a recognized live source both before and after the actual measurement. This procedure ensures that your testing tool is functioning correctly during the measurement.
The voltage is supplied via a central hub specifically designed to test the T6 FieldSense open fork. Additionally, recessed contacts are activated when test probes are inserted, preventing unintended contact. The PRV240FS has undergone testing and carries an IEC61010-1, IEC61010-2-030 safety rating.
