White, general purpose thread sealant for an instant low-pressure seal

This low strength, high-viscosity thread sealant is UL classified and ideal for tapered, coarse threads. It’s specially formulated to offer easy assembly and removal.

The LOCTITE® 567 is a white, 1-part thread sealant designed for the locking and sealing of tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. As an anaerobic-curing thread sealant, it cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Its high lubricating properties prevent galling on stainless steel, aluminum and all other metal pipe threads, and allows ease of disassembly. The product offers high temperature performance and oil tolerance. And it tolerates minor surface contaminations from various oils, such as cutting, lubrication, anti-corrosion and protection fluids.
