LOCTITE® 498 is a medium visocsity, instant adhesive formulated to resist thermal cycling and exhibits superior resistance to humidity. LOCTITE® 498 has a fixture time of approximately 50 seconds and is suited for the assembly of metals, elastomers and plastics, including difficult-to-bond (PP, PE, PTFE) plastics with the aid of a primer such as LOCTITE SF 770. Resists temperature to 180°F continuous or up to 250°F.
