E36731A Battery Emulator

The E36731A Battery Emulator is designed to operate with Keysight’s BV9211B PathWave BenchVue Advanced Battery Emulation software. Together, they make it easy to profile batteries and perform battery emulation, enabling detailed battery‑drain analysis at different states of charge. This capability helps you quickly optimize your device for improved battery life.

You can also create custom charge and discharge sequences under a variety of test conditions. The software supports up to one thousand cycling operations, allowing you to evaluate aging effects and assess long‑term battery reliability.

Intuitive and Easy-to-Use Interface and Flexible IO Connectivity

The E36731A features a 4.3-inch LCD color display that presents voltage and current readings for all channels in various view modes. Its knobs, interface windows, and binding posts are color-coded to simplify setup and minimize connection mistakes. For precise control, it includes two rotary encoder knobs for voltage and current adjustments, along with an instrument keypad for swift configuration changes. Additionally, the rear output terminals make wiring more convenient, making it well-suited for both bench and system setups. The E36731A ships standard with LAN and USB. GPIB is available as an option.

The optional BV9210B software is available for download with a 7-day free trial. After the seven-day trial period, an extension trial is available for an additional 30 days once you enter your credentials. To purchase a license, choose the BV9211B single power supply option or the BV9210B multiple power supply option. The purchased license resides on the PC or network, depending on the license type.
