The LF-15 can be used with the ThermoPart tip or the LapFlo tip. The ThermoPart tip allows for the easy, selective, removal of conformal coatings (such as epoxies and eurethanes, etc) without damage to the surrounding PAB, components, or circuits. The LapFlo tips permit high strength lap solder joints. They are ideal for repairing broken circuit runs and replacing flatpacks and planar mounted connectors.
