The DSX2-8000OI kit enables you to measure performance and isolate issues in copper and fiber connections (both single-mode and multimode) using the DSX CableAnalyzer and modules. It also supports inspection and cleaning of MPO and single-fiber endfaces. Additionally, the kit includes a live fiber detector—a pocket-sized tool designed to test single-mode and multimode UPC/APC patch cords and ports using a non-contact, non-contaminating method. Many accessories further round out the kit.

DSX CableAnalyzer Series Family

The DSX CableAnalyzer Series is the copper certification solution of the Versiv cabling certification product family. The Series is based on two modules: the DSX2-5000 and DSX2-8000. The DSX2-5000 certifies twisted pair Cat 5e, 6, 6A and Class FA cabling with limits up to 1000 MHz. The DSX2-8000 certifies twisted pair Cat 5e, 6, 6A, Cat 8 and Class I/II cabling with limits up to 2000 MHz.
